Marginalia is a vibrant app that enhances the reading experience by allowing users to track their books and reading progress, take detailed notes in various formats, and discover new reads. With an interactive community, users can share insights, explore recommendations, and connect with friends over their literary journeys.

(PROCESS)
This project was developed as part of Udacity’s Advanced User Experience Design Nanodegree, which I completed on a scholarship from EGFWD. The process involved ideating an app concept, conducting user research, and documenting insights through a detailed research plan and report, as well as creating an affinity diagram, designing core screens, and developing both low- and high-fidelity prototypes. I refined the design iteratively based on feedback and additional research, culminating in a comprehensive UX portfolio case study.
(RESEARCH)
For this project, I relied heavily on research practices, conducting 15-minute semi-structured interviews to gather in-depth qualitative insights. Using a prepared interview script as a guide, I adapted questions in real-time based on each participant's responses, engaging with seven individuals from my social circle who fit the user profile: adults who enjoy reading, are comfortable with mobile apps, and seek ways to organize notes for better recall. This diverse group provided valuable insights, revealing key findings that shaped the app's direction.
